Welcome to Hartford's Walking and Cycling Routes information page.

Whatever age you are, getting out in the fresh air, not only feels great but it also keeps you fit and active. Above all daily exercise has so many benefits for your health and wellbeing both physically and mentally. We live in such a beautiful part of the North West it’s a shame not to make the most of it.

Walking or cycling are activities that you can do at your own pace, with a group, family or like minded people.

The Parish Council aims to provide information about  routes that are available within our Parish and beyond. We hope to build a list of routes for Walking and Cycling that provide details of distance, predicted time and information on what your can expect from the route such as how difficult it is and what you can lookout for on the route.

The WRT booklet below has been prepared by our Hartford News Editor, Chris Poole.  A paper version of it will also be available in the July issue of the Hartford News as a pull out.
