Vacancy for Hartford Parish Clerk

Applications are invited for the role of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to Hartford Parish Council.

Salary from the National Joint Council scale point LC2 30 – 38 (£27,358 to £34,106) pro rata.

Hours of work 30 hours per week.

The hours are flexible with some evenings and occasional weekends.

The place of work is the Council’s Office at the Village Hall, 244 Chester Road, Hartford, CW9 1LW.

The successful applicant will be required to provide professional support and guidance to members of the Council in respect of all aspects of the Council’s work including acting as the Council’s Responsible Financial Officer.

The post requires applicants to have knowledge and understanding of Local Government structures and practices as well as experience in administration, financial management and computer and website skills.
