Hartford’s existing Neighbourhood Plan was created in 2016 by Hartford Parish Council, in consultation with other groups and residents. The current plan runs from 2016 – 2030. 

Our plan has proven very useful to us so far. As well as guiding our work, we have used the plan to challenge and stop several planning applications, including the Care Home development on Chester Road, protecting the character of the village. We have also used the plan to successfully apply for over £221,700 in Community Infrastructure Funds, which we are using to improve our amenities.

We are now starting work on the next version of the Neighbourhood Plan and would welcome the views of any Hartford residents. If you would like to contribute ideas or comments to the Neighbourhood Plan, please contact us.
