Equipment loan scheme
Want to save money and help the environment? Hartford Parish Council has developed an equipment loan scheme that is free-of-charge for all Hartford residents.
Our scheme allows residents and groups in Hartford to reserve items of equipment for loan. See below for what equipment is on offer.
To borrow equipment, you must fill out this Loan Request form, then agree to the terms and conditions of the loan agreement. You must also register with the Clerk and provide the following information:
- Proof of identification: Driving licence or Passport
- Proof of address: Two current bills in your name with details of your address
- Proof of insurance: Your house contents insurance.
Dirty water pump
Titan 750w dirty water pump, suitable for submersion, quickly clearing large volumes of dirty water from footings and ditches, including solid particles up to 35mm diameter. Supplied with 25 and 38mm hose adaptors for varying hosepipe options. Please see instruction manual.
Fruit presser
This 7 litre presser is suitable for processing apples, pears and other soft fruits and vegetables. Hard fruits and vegetables, such as carrots, are not suitable. Please see instruction manual and overview.
Gazebo – Pop-up Gorilla 3m x 3m
Pop-up blue Gorilla Gazebo with wheeled carry bag, pegs and guy ropes. Simple to erect/dismantle, but would recommend four people. Please try to ensure the gazebo is dry before packing away. If this is not possible, inform the Clerk (email clerk@hartfordparishcouncil.org.uk) that the gazebo is wet.
Petrol Compactor – Scheppach 6.5HP
Compactor machine for the construction of driveways and patios. Caution: requires two people to lift the item. Instructions available. Please see instruction manual
Thermal Camera – FLIR-C5
Thermal Camera to assist in identifying heat loss in the home or office. Please see quick instructions.
