The Hartford Allotment Association is delighted to support Hartford Primary School by opening up our plots for hands-on learning. We recently hosted a fantastic visit where the children explored how fresh food grows and discovered the bustling world of mini-beasts and small creatures that call the allotments home.

Our dedicated association members loved working side-by-side with the enthusiastic students, sharing gardening tips and guiding their discoveries. A huge thank you goes to Julia and Christine, whose fantastic organisation made this wonderful community day possible.

We were so touched by the beautiful letters of thanks sent in by the children that we turned them into a virtual booklet.
