Hartford Parish Council Christmas lights

Tonight Hartford Parish Council invites you to the 2018 village Christmas lights switch-on!

Meet Father Christmas and enjoy free mince pies & mulled wine

It’s coming! Christmas is, once again, just around the corner. The 2018 Village Christmas Lights switch-on ceremony will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday 30 November, outside the Chester Road shops.

Hartford Parish Council has organised and funded the Christmas tree and the spectacular illuminations that will grace the centre of the village.

Mince pies and mulled wine will be provided, free of charge. Music will come from the Hartford Church of England High School Band. Other musical contributions will be made by Ageless Ukes (our local ukulele band) and the ATC Band. Hartford Parish Council would like to express its gratitude for a substantial donation to the event being made by the Co-Op. Be sure to get there early; the 2017 switch-on attracted the biggest crowds ever seen for the event.

With some help from the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal, the lights switch-on will see Santa make his first Hartford appearance before returning to the village during December. Follow him online using the ‘Santa Tracker’.
