Hartford Parish Council is working with Vision One Research, an independent research company, to explore how our community facilities – including the Village Hall, Green Field Pavilion and Cricket Pavilion pictured above – can best serve local residents.

We recently held small focus groups to gather ideas about what’s working well, what could be improved, and what new opportunities might make Hartford an even better place to live. We now invite you to fill in a survey by midnight on Monday 2 March 2026.

The aim of the survey is to explore how Hartford’s community facilities and spaces can best serve the needs of residents. The survey will help build a clearer picture of what matters most to the community, including how existing facilities are being used, what could be improved, and what new opportunities or activities would be most valued.

We want to hear from a wide range of residents, including younger adults, families, long-term and older residents, community volunteers, and those who run or support local organisations. Whether you use local venues regularly, occasionally, or not at all, your perspective is important. By taking part, you will help ensure that the final outcomes reflect what residents genuinely need and support.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and encourage others in your household to participate too. Your responses will be treated in confidence and will be reported in summary form only.

You can fill out the survey online via the link above, or on paper, using the pull-out in February 2026 Hartford News magazine.
