ANNUAL PARISH MEETING – Monday 25 April 7pm

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting. It is a meeting, required by law (Local Government Act 1972) of the parish electors taking place between 1 March and 1 June. Electors can contribute to the agenda and in practice these meetings often celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community. The chairman of the council, if present, will chair the meeting.

The Annual Parish Meeting has been called this year on Monday 25 April starting at 7pm in the Village Hall.

GROUPS: We are hoping that voluntary, community and activity groups will join us to promote their work either by making a presentation or putting up a display or both!  This is an opportunity to inform the residents of Hartford about the things you have done, are doing and want to do in the future.  Contact the Clerk if you want to get involved. or 01606 784401.

INDIVIDUALS: This is a meeting of Hartford residents (precept payers) so we need you to join us and contribute items for the agenda.  Come along and tell us what you’d like to see in your village. Contact the Clerk if you want to suggest an agenda item.

Everyone on the electoral role for Hartford Parish is welcome to attend.
